Entrants at www.fox5atlanta/contest must be legal Georgia residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, and have lawful access to the method of entry set forth in these rules.
Employees of New World Communications of Atlanta, Inc., the owner of WAGA FOX 5, (collectively, “Sponsor”), as well as their affiliated companies, promotion agencies, advertising agencies, and immediate family members, are not eligible. “Immediate family members” means spouses, parents, step-parents and siblings, as well as children and stepchildren.
Household members are people who live in the same house at least three (3) months of the year. Participation is an unconditional acceptance of these Giveaway Rules and the decisions made by Sponsor, which are final in all matters relating to the Giveaway. All requirements must be met before you can win a prize.

To enter or win, no purchase is required. All offers are final. All applicable federal, state, or local regulations. One (1) entry per email address, per day. The giveaway starts at 5:00 AM local time on October 31, 2022. All entries must be received no later than 8:00 AM local time on December 2, 2022 (the “Giveaway period”). This Contest’s official time-keeping device is the Sponsor’s computer. A household or individual may only win one (1) prize during the Giveaway Period.
You can enter by watching “Good Day Atlanta” (the Program) on FOX 5 weekdays between 5:00AM and 8:00AM. Look for the code word that day on the screen during the Program. Each weekday, one (1) code word will broadcast from 5:00 AM to 8:00AM. It will change each weekday during the Giveaway Period.
Then go to Fox5atlanta.com/contests and follow all instructions to fully complete the online entry, including submitting a valid code word, correctly spelled. Each code word can be entered until 8:00 AM on the weekday that the code word was broadcast. For the purposes of this Contest, code words entered after 8:00 AM on any given morning will not be accepted.
The Giveaway Period will end if the Program is not telecast during one or more of the Giveaway Days. For the purposes of this Giveaway, entries that are incomplete, late, incorrect, or misspelled, as well as code words, will not be accepted. You must enter the new code word for each broadcast day to be eligible for the Giveaway.

The prize(s)
- Each winner will receive an American Express gift card. Each prize has a retail value of approximately five hundred dollars ($500.00).
- The winners will receive notification by phone and e-mail on or around 11/4/22 and 11/18/22 and 11/25/22 and 11/25/22 respectively. They may be awarded the prize subject to verification of eligibility. Winners must respond within 14 days to prize notification. The winners will need to sign, return, and complete a Certificate of Eligibility, Release, in order to claim the prize in accordance with the time frame communicated by the Sponsor. If they fail to do so, the prize will be forfeited. The Station will not award any prize if the winner does not respond to the prize notification or fails to sign and return the Certification of Eligibility. In accordance with these Contest Rules, the Sponsor may choose an alternate winner at its sole discretion.
- The winner(s) cannot redeem prizes for cash or replace them with any other items. The winner(s), however, cannot transfer or assign the prize. The Sponsor reserves the rights to substitute any prize with a prize equal or greater in value, including cash, at any time.
- All taxes on prizes that are based on these rules, whether they be local, state, or federal, must be paid by the winner.
- Each household will only be eligible to win one prize. No matter how many giveaways were entered, individuals are only eligible for one prize in any given 60-day period.
